Franklin Ning
Hey everybody,
My name is Franklin Ning and I am currently a sophomore chemical engineer and general biology double major. I have been through almost every typical freshmen dilemma, in and outside of CHBE101, so feel free to stop by my session if you need any sort of help. When I am not drowning in school work, you should be able to find me break-dancing, running long distances, doing something Engineers without Borders-related, or etc.
Best of luck to you all this semester!
If your schedule a session with me, meet me in the atrium in the Chemistry Building.
If you have trouble finding me, email me at franklinning@gmail.com

David Palmer
Hi, I'm David Palmer a current Junior in Chemical Engineering. I am involved in research, ChemE Car, and the OXE honors club in the department. It was not too long ago that I took CHBE101, and I can help help you with any topics in the class that you be struggling in. CHBE 101 is great introduction to chemical engineering and I think taking advantage of office hours and tutoring hours is a good opportunity to ensure your success.
If you schedule a session with me, meet me in the CHE2140 computer lab.
If you have trouble finding me, send me an email at daviddpalmer3@gmail.com

Josh Vincent
Hello everyone! My name is Joshua Vincent, and I am a junior tutoring CHBE302. My pedagogy includes conceptual reasoning, and attempts to link mathematical formalism to physical phenomena in order to clarify purpose. Thermo II was one of my favorite courses, and I am looking forward to tutor in it! :)
If you have scheduled a session with me, meet me in the first floor of the Chemistry Library!
If you have trouble finding me, email me at jvincen1@umd.edu

Viviana Monje-Galvan
I am a 3rd year graduate student in ChemE at UMD; my research focuses on biological membranes and proteins using molecular dynamic simulations (based on statistical thermodynamics). I got my BS degree also at UMD and really enjoyed the thermodynamics, kinetics, and process control classes. During all my years at UMD I have been actively involved with the CMSE (Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering), and enjoy outreach activities that help and motivate students. I participated in some AICHE activities as an undergrad, and currently collaborate with the ChemE graduate student association.
If you have scheduled a session with me, please meet me in my office in CHE2208.
